The Mojo Filters are a Birmingham based Soul Rock band, we combine 60's and 70's soul with an aggressive rock sound to create a unique musical experience, upbeat and energetic and laid back and smooth in equal measure
The band was formed in the Big Bulls head in Birmingham In November 2015 due to the dissolution of a previous musical project. Although the band members have a range of influences we all coalesed around the soul/rock genres so we decided this would be our musical direction, Our lineup was completed by Sam Cartwright early 2016.
We are heavily influenced by the Blues, Soul and Rock sounds of artists like Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, The Temptations, The Beatles and more modern acts such as Oasis, The Stone Roses, Kula Shaker, Vintage Trouble and Rival sons.
